We Rock the Spectrum – Chesapeake is an inclusive indoor kid’s gym and we are seeking fun, vibrant, creative, & dedicated individuals with a passion for helping children, especially those with special needs. This is the perfect position for people seeking community service hours or an internship position. We are recruiting employees & volunteers for:
• CAMP
• OPEN PLAY
• BIRTHDAY PARTIES
• SPECIAL EVENTS
Available positions include:
• Volunteers
• Counselors in Training (Ages 12-15 *unpaid position)
• WRTS Coaches (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Position Requirements
• Enthusiasm to work with All children, with All abilities
• Previous experiences working with children (preferably children with special needs and without)
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent (If current high school student, must be at least 16 years old )
• Pre-Employment Screening (Background check, CPR certification, & TB Test)
• ALL positions require availability to work on the weekends. Our business hours are 7 days a week from 9am-7pm
• We are closed on the following federal holidays:
-New Year’s Day
-July 4th
-Thanksgiving
-Christmas Day
